Virtual Glossary and Science Word Wall in the Digital Learning Classroom

Sometimes as a high school teacher I find myself looking for ideas to use in the classroom that are commonplace in an elementary classroom. One great idea I stole from the lower grades is a word wall.   I have also jazzed it up a bit for Distance Learning by adding a Virtual Glossary and Interactive Notes online. If you have never heard of a word wall then let me explain this to you and show you how I made it interactive in the Digital Classroom.  According to Readingrockets.com:  A word wall is a collection of words which are displayed in large visible letters on a wall, bulletin board, or other display surface in a classroom. Distance Learning and Teaching Earth Science

For the past ten years I have been teaching my students face to face in class and creating videos so they can access important material anywhere and anytime. This is commonly known as blended learning.
